Bo'ness Community Social Life Group

I have just recently come to settle in this lovely clean historic town and I think it is going to suit me fine.

Yet I can't help noticing in the evenings and at weekends there seems to be a terrible lack of opportunities to get together for relaxation and company.

I have spoken to few people about this and it seems to bother all age-groups.

I feel sure that what I have observed and learned in the various English towns I lived in, where I always enjoyed a busy social life, combined with the local knowledge of native Bo'nessians, we can create inexpensive entertainment and leisure facilities for all age groups that will make the town a community we're all happy to live in. In 1992 I lived in Tunbridge Wells and we were being told we were headed into a serious recession. However, by creating a lively social life for the younger people, we managed to kick-start a period of growth in leisure and entertainment that provided employment and got the economy improving again.

If you live in or near Bo'ness, please join the Google Group I have started and discuss this with me, no matter what age you are.

JOSE CEZON says

Hi everyone,

Me my wife and my daughter are moving to Boness in November. We now live in Livingston and formerly in Edinburgh and formerly in Manchester.

I studied IT, in college and I worked for a pharmaceutical laboratory, also am graphic designer and amateur photographer. My wife works in livingston as an international marketing manager.

My name is Jose I am Spanish and my wife, who met at the University when he was studying a master of business administration, is Russian.

We would like to be happy in Boness. We trust people to be friendly and welcoming. I worked as a volunteer helping the elderly. I have good friends in Edinburgh and Livingston.

I would like to give private lessons in Spanish almost for free and if someone fancy you going to meetings of photography, I'm going to attend a photography group in Linlithgow.

We are responsible, serious and close people who pay our taxes like any citizen. We like the Scottish culture and customs. We would like to do good be in Boness with conviviality, helping and building sincere relations with this society. My daughter is absolutely born in Scotland.

This is my mail: jolucega2009@hotmail.com
