Bo'ness hospital couple donate skeletons to dungeon

A couple who work in Bo'ness Hospital have made a very unusual pledge - and are planning to donate their skeletons to an Edinburgh dungeon visitor attraction.

Andrew and Janine Leishman have decided to donate their bodies to Edinburgh University's medical College for dissection before Edinburgh Dungeon puts them on display - because they do not want to inflict their funerals on their family.

The couple, who both work as nurses at Bo'ness Hospital, said they also wanted to highlight the shortage of bodies donated to medical science.
