Bo'ness swimmer Jak ready to make a splash at Delhi Games
10 August
Bo'ness swimming star Jak Scott will hope to make a splash at September's Commenwealth Games in Delhi, after he was named as a member of the 21-strong Scotland team.
Jak had originally aimed to qualify for the the 2012 London Olympics and the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, but impressive training performances by the 19-year-old pool star saw him make the Scottish 4x200m freestyle relay team for this year's games.
Already the 100m British freestyle champion in his age group, Jak is also the Scottish record holder.
The last Games in Melbourne in 2006 was the most successful Games ever for Scottish swimming, with 12 medals including six gold.
Good luck to Jak at the Games! Post your comments and messages here on s1boness
