Bo'ness team pulls for glory at world tug of war championships

Bo'ness pullers were the backbone of the Scotland team which kept its top ranking at the world indoor tug of war championships in Italy.

Members of the Bo'ness Recreation Centre club were at the core of the team, with Graham Hendry, Alan Brodie, Kevin Campbell, Graeme Duncan, Alistair Cook, Bob Warnock and Gary Gillespie all coming home with medals, with club coach Robert Paterson also coaching the four Scottish teams.

Scotland will host the championships in 2012, and will be hoping for an even greater haul of medals.
