It’s just days until the town’s biggest event, Bo'ness Children's Fair Festival and if you're going, the chances are you will be taking lots of snaps, and maybe even your own video footage so why not share them here with the rest of the community?

If you can’t wait until the 2012 Fair, then you can relive some of last year’s event with this fantastic video, uploaded to YouTube by lewisarcher2001:

The fun this year will kick off on Thursday, June 28 with the Fair E'en Follow the Band. Forth Bridges Accordion Band, Bo’ness Carriden Band, Unison Kinneil Band and Bo’ness Pipe Band will be parading through the town. For details of the bands’ itineraries, click here.

As s1boness reported earlier in the year, Bo’ness Public School’s Nicole Bell will take over from reigning Queen, Erin Meikle as this year’s Fair Queen. Nicole’s best friend Carla Hogarth will be her Chief Lady in Waiting and Joe Young, the Queen's Champion. To view the full 2012 retinue, click here.

Reverend Albert Bogle’s wife Martha has been chosen to crown Queen Nicole. Please note that the timings of the crowing and the parade might change if the weather is poor. Click here for the Inclement Weather Arrangements.
