Locals will be pleased to know the deadline for the harbour foreshore redevelopment consultation has been extended to June 20.

Hundreds of you never received the important newsletter about the ING development and whether it should go ahead, when it was first distributed on behalf of Falkirk Council by a private firm.

More newsletters have now been rushed out to the streets which were missed in the initial mail-drop.

So far, statistics are showing most of us don't like the sound of ING's revised plans - an online poll run by Falkirk Council shows that only 46 per cent of locals are in favour of the plans going ahead, with the remaining 54 per cent opposed to them.
