New chairman takes over for 2010 Bo'ness Children's Fair

  • Jim Stewart is the new chairman of the Bo'ness Children's Fair committee
Bo'ness Children's Fair's long-standing chairman Jeff Stewart has handed over the reins of office to Jim Stewart (Vice Chairman) after 10 years at the helm of the festival.

Following the fair's AGM, moving to the Vice Chairman's post will be Malcolm Millar - and Jill McCue takes over as catering manager from Jim Barrowman who has served 20 years in the role.

The 102nd Bo'ness Children's Fair queen will be crowned on Friday 25th June 2010 - with plenty of events to come between now and then for the new chairman and committee.

See the official Fair website here.

Thank you to Jeff, and good luck to new festival chairman Jim Stewart. What would you like to see at next year's Children's Fair? Share your thoughts, ideas - and photos of previous fairs - here on s1boness

more decorated lorries/floats, maybe if each local buisness dressed up or did a float? or even a decorated car comp for locals? they parade thier car in the procession with winner voted next day? something to get more of the locals involved on the day would be nice? =)
