2009 Bo'ness Children's Fair Queen Shanagh Penman after the crowning
The sun shone brightly as Bo'ness crowned its 101st Children's Fair Queen on Friday, with thousands packing the slopes in front of the town hall to see Shanagh Penman of Deanburn School receive her crown from Mrs Margaret Cuthell.
A spectacular crowning ceremony, followed by performances by all the local schools, and a colourful parade through the town capped a wonderful Bo'ness Children's Fair 2009 - as once again the town (and visitors from beyond in this Homecoming year) flocked to 'Our Festal Day'.
